How I keep it all together with a full time job with chickens.

Have chicken's and quails can seem overwhelming at times. Establishing a smooth morning routine for feeding chickens and quails can make your day more efficient and enjoyable.

1. **Early Rise:** Wake up early enough to allow yourself plenty of time to tend to your chickens and quails before starting your day.

2. **Prepare Feed:** Begin by preparing the feed for both your chickens and quails. Make sure you have the appropriate feed for each group and measure out the required amount.

3. **Feed Chickens:** Start by feeding your chickens. Scatter the feed in their designated feeding area or use feeders if you have them. Ensure that all chickens have access to the feed and that there's enough space for them to eat comfortably.

4. **Check Water:** After feeding the chickens, check their water supply. Make sure their waterers are filled with clean, fresh water. Chickens need access to water throughout the day, so ensure their water supply is adequate.

5. **Feed Quails:** Once the chickens are fed and watered, move on to feeding the quails. Provide them with their feed in designated feeders or scatter it in their enclosure. Quails have different dietary needs than chickens, so ensure you're providing them with the appropriate feed.

6. **Check Quail Eggs:** While you're tending to the quails, take a moment to check for any eggs they may have laid overnight. Collect any eggs and place them in a safe container for later use.

7. **General Check-up:** Take a few minutes to observe both your chickens and quails. Look for any signs of illness or injury, and address any issues promptly.

8. **Clean Coops and Enclosures:** If needed, take this time to do a quick clean-up of the chicken coop and quail enclosures. Remove any soiled bedding, replenish bedding if necessary, and tidy up the area to maintain a clean and healthy environment for your birds.

9. **Enjoy Your Morning:** With your feathered friends fed and cared for, take a moment to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of your homestead before starting the rest of your day.

By following a consistent morning routine, you'll ensure that your chickens and quails receive the care and attention they need to thrive, setting a positive tone for the rest of your day.
